AEM Hybrid Cold Air Intake Systems are made specifically for Honda engines manufactured from the late 1980s up to the year 2000. It replaces the stock airbox and air filter, and relocates the position of the air filter to give your engine better access to cold air from outside the engine compartment. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen which allows your engine to burn more fuel resulting in higher horsepower and torque numbers.

AEM Hybrid Air Intake Systems have also been specially designed for both stock engines and modified engines built with aggressive cams and ported heads. It uses a 3-inch mandrel bent inlet pipe made out of lightweight aircraft aluminum along with an included AEM Dryflow Air Filter for maximum airflow.

AEM Dryflow Air Filters use thick synthetic filter media which offers higher air capacity and easy maintenance. It can last up to 100,000 miles before it needs to be cleaned in normal driving conditions. The high performance air filter can also be easily cleaned and washed, and doesn’t require any air filter oil prior to installation.
